LPC Factory Upgrade

We’ve been very busy since we refurbished the main offices at our manufacturing site in Coundon, Bishop Auckland.

Over the last 6 to 8 months we have done extensive work to the rest of the building too…

We started in November 2019 by over cladding the internal and external walls. Externally we used a light grey sheeting and dark grey guttering.

Internally we used white cladding and this combined with new lighting throughout has brightened the whole production area creating a happier and safer work area.

Prior to starting the work to the car park we also had to do extensive work to the drainage system to take the water away from the building and surrounding land.

Once the work on the main building was completed and the new drainage system was installed, we then moved on to improve the car parking facilities for our staff & visitors.

As part of the work we’ve introduced disabled parking and an access ramp.

We have also introduced a number of changes in accordance with the COVID-19 government guidelines to ensure that guests feel safe when visiting the site. These include plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers, 2 mtr social distancing, readily available PPE and Perspex screens in the meeting rooms.
